Friday, April 10, 2026 New Ambassador Application 2026-2027 window ends
Monday, April 13, 2026 Notify selected New Ambassador 2026-2027 applicants of interview dates
Monday, April 20, 2026 New Ambassador Applicant 2026-2027 Interviews begin
Monday, May 4, 2026 New Ambassador 2026-2027 formal offer letters to be sent out

If you are interested in applying for the 2026-2027 academic year, please note the following information!

Qualifications Required:

  • Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester while employed
  • Have a 2.5 Cumulative GPA or higher
  • Have a good work ethic and attitude
  • The desire to serve as a role model for students.
  • Commitment of two (2) semesters (fall & spring)
  • Availablity to work at least 7 hours a week.

    • NOVA faculty/staff reference
    • Professional reference

STUDENT AMBASSADOR  ROLE

Student Ambassadors are a select group of students chosen through an application and interview process. They serve as role models to the student body and assist the Office of Student Life in the planning and implementation of campus programs.  The Office of Student Life seeks students from diverse backgrounds who are enthusiastic and who demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership potential.

Student Ambassadors partake in various events and activities.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist and participate in Student Life events
  • Participate in special events as needed
  • Conducting group or individualized campus tours
  • Staff information tables at resource fairs
  • Provide students with information regarding NOVA co-curricular programs.
  • Serve as encouraging role models and advocates of higher education.
